Recipe for cooking a Chowder soup with Castillo de Canena Olive Oil with oak smoke as a substitute for bacon.
- Potatoes
- Castillo de Canena olive oil with oak smoke in place of bacon
- Fresh thyme
- Flour
- Milk
- Cockles or sweet corn
Cut the potatoes into small squares.
Fry the potatoes in extra virgin olive oil.
Add flour and stir.
Add milk to cover the potatoes and stir.
Add 1 can of cockles with their water or a can of sweet corn.
2/3 tablespoons of Castillo de Canena oak-smoked oil.
Finish with a sprig of fresh thyme.
