Fine sandwich, a shrimp sandwich with hints of Jerez

INGREDIENTS

Algae CO(K) Bread by TriticumCerveza_artesana_Xela_bocadillo_langostinos_Castillo_de_Canena

Boiled shrimps

Jerez  vinegar

1 egg

Lettuce

Castillo de Canena Family Reserve Arbequina EVOO

XELA craft beer

PREPARATION

First, we will prepare a very special mayonnaise with our Family Reserve Arbequina extra virgin olive oil and Jerez vinegar!

Put a egg in a long container with few drops of Jerez vinegar and Castillo de Canena Family Reserve Arbequina EVOO, trying not to break the yolk. With a mixer, we’ll beat until the mixture emulsifies. Finally we put a pinch of salt to taste.

For this fine sandwich, we opted for the amazing Triticum’s CO(K) Algae bread with notes and aromas that take us right to the seashore …

Open this special bread and make a base of lettuce, it will be the bed for the boiled shrimps (previously peeled) that will be placed over it and then cover with the mayonnaise that we prepared before.

Of course, we will enjoy with a fine artisanal beer… we have found the perfect match!  We recommend to accompany this special sandwich with XELA beer (XELA microbrewery), originally from Cádiz (Spain), which was born thanks to the two passions of its creators: beer and Jerez wine.

In this beer, wine and beer  evolve together, resulting in a final beer that stands out for its intense flavor at first, which gets softer afterwards thanks to the touch of wine, leaving a pleasant aftertaste in the mouth.
