This is the first oil to be launched in the category of 21st Century Oils (Extra Virgin Oils that have never been produced before due to their singularities), hence its name: Primero. The cultivation of the Royal variety, which is native to the Sierra de Cazorla and from which this oil is produced, was practically abandoned due to the difficulty of harvesting it. At Castillo de Canena, we have recovered this variety in our commitment to biodiversity and new gastronomic experiences, launching for the first time in history an Royal Temprano, that is to say, an oil made with olives of the Royal variety harvested at the beginning of the harvest.
A harmonious oil, very delicate and elegant, with an almost imperceptible bitterness and a slightly more intense spiciness at the end.

A groundbreaking and elegant design for an ancient varietal with original tasting notes: fresh grass, artichoke and green banana and, secondly, tropical fruits such as pineapple and kiwi.
