Recipe for cooking a Chowder soup with Castillo de Canena Olive Oil with oak smoke as a substitute for bacon.

Ingredients
  

  • Potatoes
  • Castillo de Canena olive oil with oak smoke in place of bacon
  • Fresh thyme
  • Flour
  • Milk
  • Cockles or sweet corn

Instructions
 

  • Cut the potatoes into small squares.
  • Fry the potatoes in extra virgin olive oil.
  • Add flour and stir.
  • Add milk to cover the potatoes and stir.
  • Add 1 can of cockles with their water or a can of sweet corn.
  • 2/3 tablespoons of Castillo de Canena oak-smoked oil.
  • Finish with a sprig of fresh thyme.
